Author Guidelines

International Journal of Digital Engineering, Architecture and Technical Sciences welcomes submissions from researchers, academics, and practitioners worldwide. Prior to submitting, authors are strongly encouraged to read the complete guidelines below, in addition to the Manuscript Preparation section.

Submission checklist

  • Manuscript prepared according to the journal's template and Manuscript Preparation guidelines.
  • A separate title page with full author information, and a blind manuscript without any author-identifying information.
  • A structured abstract of 150–250 words and 5–8 keywords.
  • All tables and figures numbered, captioned, and cited in the text.
  • References formatted in APA 7th edition style or IEEE style.
  • Similarity index below 20%, verified using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate.
  • Cover letter summarizing the novelty of the work and confirming originality.
  • Signed copyright transfer agreement and conflict of interest declaration.
  • Ethics approval letter (if the research involves human or animal subjects).

Submission process

All submissions must be made through the journal's online submission system. Email submissions are not accepted. The corresponding author is responsible for the submission and for communicating with all co-authors throughout the process.

Language and style

Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English (either British or American English, used consistently). Non-native English speakers are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited prior to submission. Manuscripts with substantial language deficiencies may be returned without review.

Authorship and contributorship

The journal adheres to the ICMJE criteria for authorship. All authors must have made substantial contributions to: (1) the conception or design of the work or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; (2) drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content; (3) final approval of the version to be published; and (4) agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

Use of generative AI tools

Generative artificial intelligence tools (for example, large language models) do not qualify for authorship. If such tools are used for any aspect of manuscript preparation — for example, language polishing, literature searching, or data analysis — their use must be transparently disclosed in the Methods section or in a dedicated acknowledgment statement. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content.

Data availability and supplementary materials

Authors are encouraged to make the data supporting their findings openly available in a trusted data repository, where ethically and legally permissible. A data availability statement must be included in every submission. Supplementary materials (datasets, code, additional figures or tables) may be submitted alongside the main manuscript and will be published online with the article.

After publication

Upon publication, authors will receive a final published PDF of their article, an official acceptance certificate, and a permanent DOI (Digital Object Identifier). Authors are encouraged to promote their article through academic social networks, institutional repositories, and scholarly communication channels.
