Open Access Policy

International Journal of Alternative Education and Philological Sciences is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are immediately and permanently available online to anyone, anywhere, free of charge. There are no subscription fees, registration requirements, or access barriers for readers.

Rationale for open access

The journal subscribes to the principles articulated in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). We believe that free access to peer-reviewed research literature:

  • Accelerates the pace of scientific discovery and innovation.
  • Increases the visibility, reach, and citation impact of published research.
  • Promotes educational and academic equity across regions and institutions.
  • Supports evidence-informed policymaking and professional practice.
  • Maximizes the public benefit derived from publicly funded research.

Licensing

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, users are permitted to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially.

Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate any changes that were made. Authors retain full copyright of their published work.

Archiving and long-term access

To ensure long-term digital preservation, all published articles are archived through multiple independent digital preservation services and stored on the publisher's own servers with regular backups. The journal participates in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS preservation programs where feasible.

Self-archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to self-archive both pre-print and post-print versions of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and subject-based repositories (such as SSRN, arXiv, or ResearchGate) without embargo.
