Abstract

Metabolic syndrome is a multifactorial pathological condition characterized by abdominal obesity, insulin resistance, arterial hypertension, and disorders of lipid metabolism. The aim of this article is to analyze modern approaches used in the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic syndrome. The study reviewed international scientific sources, clinical trials, and meta-analyses published in recent years. The findings demonstrated that modern pharmacological agents such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Empagliflozin, as well as individualized lifestyle modification strategies, are effective in improving metabolic parameters. Contemporary approaches are expanding the possibilities for the comprehensive and individualized management of metabolic syndrome.
