Agricultural enterprises are increasingly operating in highly competitive markets where distinctive product identities, consistent quality, geographical origin, and sustainable relationships with consumers play an essential role in ensuring long-term economic growth. Consequently, brand development has evolved beyond traditional trademark creation to encompass regional identity, product certification, innovative packaging, digital marketing, environmental sustainability, and supply chain traceability. This article examines the major trends influencing brand development among agricultural enterprises and identifies the organizational, economic, technological, and market-related factors determining their successful implementation. Based on a comprehensive conceptual review, comparative analysis, and systematic evaluation of existing branding approaches, the study identifies seven interconnected trends shaping modern agricultural branding strategies. Particular attention is given to product differentiation, collective and regional branding, quality assurance, digital customer engagement, sustainability-oriented communication, and data-driven brand management. Furthermore, the research proposes an integrated Brand Development Index (BDI) incorporating five essential dimensions: market orientation, brand identity, quality credibility, digital engagement, and environmental sustainability. The proposed framework provides a methodological foundation for evaluating the current level of brand development, identifying organizational weaknesses, and prioritizing strategic improvements. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating branding initiatives with production quality, technological innovation, consumer preferences, and sustainable business practices. The study concludes that a systematic approach to agricultural brand development can strengthen market positioning, increase consumer confidence, improve export competitiveness, and support the sustainable economic development of agricultural enterprises in domestic and international markets
